History
Pia Rossini is now widely recognized as one of the fastest growing ladies
accessory brands in the UK. Highly sought after for many years in leading
Stores and Independents in the UK and Ireland markets, the company now
exports its exclusive designs into many of the leading European markets.
Founding
of the Pia Rossini Brand (1999)
Founded in 1999, the company first started designing scarves and wraps
with their Italian partners to accessorize leading High Street Fashion
Collections. The brand proved hugely popular and helped boost the sales
of both special occasion and everyday wear collections.
The diversification and expansion of the collections from those early
days has been rapid and sustained. The portfolio of products has been
extended with the development of The Rossini Leather Glove Collection.
Once again the Anglo-Italian design teams were to produce a wide range
of innovative and unique fashion designs in leather, sheepskin and suede
in a fabulous range of fashion colours and which were marketed at High
Street prices. In recent seasons the leather glove market has continued
to grow, with a marked shift in the image and profile of the wearers.
The traditional image associated with leather gloves has been retained
but a new market has developed which is much younger and trendier and
which reacts much more quickly to changing colours and trends. Our design
teams have been kept busy and have reacted designed and developed many
exciting new styles to capitalise on this new market.
The Winter Collection Expands
(2001)
In 2001 The Rossini Collection underwent further dramatic changes which
were to catapult the Brand to the highly sought after range it is today
across Europe. A unique collection of totally co-ordinated hats, gloves,
scarves and bags was designed and marketed at affordable prices with the
goal of providing fashionable co-ordinates with genuine appeal to all
age groups and tastes. A range of fun, fashion and funky pieces was designed
for the 16-30 market while the more traditional market was catered for
with more sophisticated chenilles, wools, velvets, angoras and furs. The
ranges proved an instant success with buyers as in store displays and
the eye-appeal of the product stimulated huge demand for the product as
it entered the sales floor. A full colour brochure displaying the products
and some fabulous free point of sale material have added to the dynamic
sales guaranteed by this Collection.
The
Spring Summer Collection Arrives (2005)
The focus of co-ordinating different accessories is continued in the Spring
Summer Collection with a comprehensive range of glamorous summer shoes,
baskets, bags, hats and sarongs being offered. Highly attractive point
of sale and imagery and very competitive price points have guaranteed
the high sales and high margins associated with the Brand.
European Distribution Begins
(2005)
Our UK market was traditionally serviced by Agents. However due to the
diverse range of locations now buying the Collection, we have developed
a unique and very cost effective system for servicing the European market.
We have established Distribution Partners who have exclusive rights to
The Pia Rossini products for their regions. These exclusive partnerships
have been very successful and have been structured to enable all our European
partners to sell to their clients at the same rates offered to customers
in the local UK market, with delivery charges all inclusive in the price.
Our exclusive European Distributors have full responsibility for all invoicing,
statements, delivery notes etc which are issued in the host currency and
normal trading terms apply. All stock is warehoused locally and all dispatches
to Stores in the region take place within a guaranteed lead time of 48
hours. We are still actively seeking further distribution partners today
